Anrok MCP server

What is the Anrok MCP server?

The Anrok MCP server connects AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT to your Anrok account, so you can ask questions about your sales tax data and take actions in Anrok using live data.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants use tools from other products. Anrok publishes a set of tools, each with a description the assistant can read. The assistant picks a tool when it needs one, passes it inputs such as a date range, and uses the result to answer you. Assistants can connect to several MCP servers at once and combine data from different systems in one conversation.

With the Anrok MCP server connected, you can:

  • Analyze transactions and tax. Search transactions and get revenue and tax totals by period or jurisdiction.
  • Track filings. See return status, due dates, what was remitted, and discrepancies between tax collected and tax owed.
  • Monitor nexus. Check registration status and threshold progress in each jurisdiction.
  • Manage customers, products, and certificates. Look up and create customers and products, file exemption certificates, and request certificates from customers.
